About the product : Water-based transparent water-proofing stone impregnator.

Properties : Stoneguard protects the surface from abrasion by waterproofing of natural and synthetic stones and concrete surfaces, increases the resistance of the surface on which it is applied for changing weather conditions and protects surface from freezing. It also prevents the formation of dirt, salt, scale and algae; it does not change the natural appearance of the surface, because of its transparency. Odorless.

Application area : It is used on all type surfaces of synthetic and natural stone (cement, concrete, brick, briquettes, limestone, etc.) without varnish, with absorbent properties, as well as on concrete surfaces.

Application : Before using Stoneguard, the surface must be dry and clean, oil and dirt must be removed. Also, if there is mold and algae on the surface, it should be thoroughly cleaned. Cracks and gaps in the surface should be repaired. Do not apply the product directly to painted or varnished surfaces. Let the surface dry completely before applying the product. The product is ready and does not need to be diluted. Mix well and check for homogeneity before use. The product is applied to the surface by brush, roller and spray. It is applied in two layers without waiting the first layer to dry.  The temperature should be between +15ºC  and +25ºC during the operating time. If the first layer of the product contains stains on the stone due to scabs and other substances, the surface should be carefully wiped, washed or rubbed to remove stains. Then the second layer can be applied. Wait 24 hours for drying the product completely. If it rains during use, cover the surface and keep it covered until it dries. Suitable for use on external surfaces only. Not suitable for the floor areas.

Consumption : 

The area of 1.5 m²- 15 m² can be impregnated with lt. Stoneguard   in single coat depending on the surface.

Clay, sand and lime based bricks or briquettes: 1,5 m²

Clinker brick: 8,5 m²

Limestone: 3,5 m²

Pumice stone: 5,0 m²

Concrete and cement : 5,0 m²

River stone: 12-15 m²

Storage : 3 years in an original sealed container, provided that there is no direct sunlight and a temperature not lower than 0°C and not higher than + 35°C. Protect from freezing.

Safety : 

S 2        : Keep out of reach of children.

S 3/7/9 : Keep box closed in a cool and well-ventilated place.

S 24/25 : Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

S 29      : Do not throw into the sewer.

S 46      : If swallowed, apply to medical advice immediately and show the chemical container or label.

S 51       : Use only in well ventilated areas.
